Kaspar

An entrepreneur who created a unique niche
within the real estate title industry, Amy Kaspar
has over 35 years of experience. Initially starting
her career with a major title company in Erie
County, Ohio, Amy established her freelance
operation in Medina County, Ohio in 1980. In 2004, Kasparnet became a member of the Old Republic Title Insurance Group. Today, she has positioned Kasparnet, Inc. as a thriving business that serves the needs of a variety of clients in ten states.
As Kasparnet President and CEO, Amy is
responsible for managing the company's overall
growth and profitability. She oversees more than
fifty employees in three offices . Amy is an active
member of the American Land Title Association
(ALTA) and serves on Membership.
She is 2009-2010 President of the Ohio Land Title Association (OLTA), during its’ Centennial Year.
Amy, a Medina resident for more than 30 years,
has two adult children, Alison and Larry, who
play key roles in the daily operations of
Kasparnet, Inc. She especially enjoys traveling
and spending time with her grandsons,
Benjamin and Evan.
Larry
Crooks
Sr. VP/Chief Operating Officer, Kasparnet, Inc.
Bringing nearly 20 years' residential-examining and title-production experience to Kasparnet,
Larry Crooks oversees customer service, training, system development/support, office automation
and strategic planning. His technological leadership has been key in elevating the superior
level of Kasparnet's service. Larry also oversees the expansion of Kasparnet's geographic reach and expanded service offerings. He is a member of the Ohio Land Title Association (OLTA) Education and is a frequent speaker at OLTA and American Land Title Association (ALTA) education events. Larry was selected in 2002 by Crain's Cleveland Business magazine to its annual
"40 Under 40" list, featuring Greater Cleveland's 40 most
promising business professionals under age 40. A Cleveland resident, Larry is a graduate of The
Ohio State University.
Alison
Kaspar Gareffa
Sr. VP/Chief Financial Officer, Kasparnet, Inc.
Alison Kaspar Gareffa, Vice President of Kasparnet, Inc., began her career in the title business when she was in high school. She worked part time for a title company, and during summer breaks from college gained additional experience in the industry. After graduating from The Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations, She spent several years as a legislative assistant to Congressman Ike Skelton (D-MO) in Washington, D.C.
Alison returned to the real-estate business as assistant to the CEO of Pacific Scene, Inc., a real-estate development company based in San Diego. While at Pacific Scene, she was involved in the daily financial management of 25 corporations.
Alison has been CFO of Kasparnet since April 1997 and handles human resources, oversees accounts payable and receivable, and is responsible for the Kasparnet budgets and financial plans. In 2004, Kasparnet became a member of the Old Republic Title Insurance Group.
A longstanding member of the Ohio Land Title Association (OLTA) and American Land Title Association (ALTA), Alison currently serves on the OLTA's Membership Committee, ALTA's Government Affairs Committee, as well as its RESPA Implementation Task Force. The only two-time recipient of OLTA's prestigious President’s Award and a frequent contributor to OLTA’s publication, Title Topics, Alison believes in the importance of service to the industry.
Christina Sparks
Director of Operations, Kasparnet, Inc.
A key contributor to the success of Kasparnet since 1998, Christina Sparks was promoted to Director of Operations in May 2007. She oversees all departments of operation and has played a critical role in facilitating coordination and expansion of the Kasparnet footprint that now includes ten states. She also works closely with customers to ensure excellent service. Christina has proudly served in the U.S. Army National Guard and U.S. Army Reserves. She is a graduate of The University of Akron and enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her son, Clay.
Tom Fiegl
Marketing Representative, Kasparnet, Inc.
With 24 years of title industry experience, Tom Fiegl is Kasparnet’s Marketing Representative, joining the company in August 2008, covering Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky and Pennsylvania. Tom's previous experience as an account manager for a national title underwriter and as a practicing title agent in Southwest Ohio, uniquely qualifies him to market Kasparnet's services to a broad array of clients. Tom has examined title in 25 counties in Ohio and one in New York, and has closed loans of all shapes and sizes.
Tom served a 3 year term on the Ohio Land Title Association (OLTA )Board of Trustees and continues to serve as its Technology Committee Chairman. A native of Lockport New York, Tom is a graduate of the University of Dayton. He lives in Springfield Ohio with his wife Susan and their children Margaret and Thomas III. He enjoys music, photography, trivia and the occasional round of golf.
